Terms of Use

Effective date: 19 September 2026 · Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Briswide Inspection Services ("we", "us"), Sumners Road, Riverhills QLD 4074, Australia, for your use of the Inspection Plus+ app and getinspectionplus.com (together, the "App"). By using the App or buying a licence you accept these terms. Australian law applies and nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

2. What the App does

The App is a document-generation tool for licensed inspectors. It helps you prepare: (a) a pre-purchase building inspection Agreement and Report laid out to follow AS 4349.1-2007; (b) a Timber Pest Inspection Agreement and Report following AS 4349.3-2010; (c) a Pool Safety Inspection Agreement and Report (QDC MP 3.4 / AS 1926.1 in Queensland); (d) a Building Condition Inspection Agreement and a Building Condition & Repair Cost Report that compares recorded defects with the National Construction Code, referenced Australian Standards and the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide and produces an indicative repair cost estimate; (e) a Repair Works Agreement template drafted to Schedule 1B of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991; (f) a Handover Report and Handover Agreement; (g) a combined Building and Pest agreement and report covering both building and timber pest; and (h) quotation requests, invoices, client web links, e-acceptance and a booking page built from those documents. Documents are produced in the edition of the property's state or territory; the editions outside Queensland were prepared from the regulators' published material and should be reviewed by your solicitor before first use. Each document's builder opens once you hold a credit, pass or subscription for that document (the free code opens every report and agreement while its free credits last), and filling it in and previewing never use a credit. Downloading, printing, emailing or sending a finished document requires a licence (section 4).

2A. AI-generated content and cost estimates

Some features use an artificial-intelligence model: defect write-ups from photos and notes, photo assessments, wording suggestions, explanations, the help chat, and the Condition Report's compliance commentary, trade breakdown, material lists and cost figures (generated from the photographs, measurements and descriptions you enter, together with typical labour rates and retail / trade-supplier prices). AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Cost figures are indicative estimates for budgeting only: they are not a quotation, valuation, engineering assessment or legal opinion, and actual costs depend on access, concealed conditions, material choices and market conditions. You must review every AI-generated statement and figure, correct it where necessary and take professional responsibility for it before a document is issued. No document produced by the App should be relied on by a client without your sign-off as the licensed inspector. Text and photographs you submit to the AI features are sent to our AI provider for processing (see the Privacy Policy).

2B. Templates are not legal advice

The agreements, the Repair Works Agreement, quotation requests and invoice are templates. They are drafted with care to reflect the relevant Standards and, for repair works, Schedule 1B of the QBCC Act 1991 and the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide, but they are not legal advice and may not suit every project, licence condition or contract value. Contractors must satisfy themselves that the contract they sign meets their statutory obligations (including, for contracts of $20,000 or more, giving the Consumer Building Guide; paying the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme premium before starting work or within 10 business days of signing, whichever is earlier; and giving the owner a signed and readable copy of the contract within 5 business days) and should obtain legal advice for large or unusual works.

4. Licences, credits and Unlimited subscriptions

5. Refunds and cancellations

Our Refunds & Policies page sets out when refunds are given. In short: licences are digital products delivered immediately, so we do not offer change-of-mind refunds; if a code does not work and we cannot fix it, or the App has a major fault, you are entitled to a refund or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law. You can cancel a subscription at any time by replying to your subscription welcome email or emailing support@getinspectionplus.com; cancelling stops future payments and your access runs to the end of the month already paid for. Additional User subscriptions on the same email are cancelled with the main plan.

6. Your data

Job data (client details, property details, defects and photographs) is stored in your browser on your device. If you turn on cross-device sync it is also stored, under a key only you know, on our hosting provider's storage (Netlify, hosted in the United States) so your other devices can read it; you can turn sync off and delete the synced copy from the App at any time. When you download, print or email a finished document, we archive the PDF for seven years and publish a verification record (document ID, document type, issue date, inspector name, licence number, business name and property suburb — not the client's name) so your client can confirm it is genuine; the PDF itself is available only under your licence code and to people you send a private web link to. Text and photographs submitted to the AI features are sent to our AI provider to produce the result and are not used to train models. We keep an automated sales log (email, product, date, code) to support you and to prevent duplicate codes. Keep your own copies of issued documents for the period your professional obligations require (we recommend at least seven years). The Privacy Policy and Refunds & Policies pages give the full collection notice.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass licensing, reverse-engineer, scrape, resell or overload the App or its services, use its email, archive, booking or quote features to send material unrelated to your inspections, or use the help assistant to obtain inspection findings or legal advice. We may suspend access for misuse.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its code, design and template wording are owned by Briswide Inspection Services. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them to produce documents for your own inspection business. You own the documents you create and the information you put in them. References to Australian Standards are for identification; the Standards themselves are published by Standards Australia and are not supplied with the App.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the App available but it is provided on an "as is" basis and may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may change features, prices or these terms; changes apply to purchases made after they are posted, and we will tell subscribers before a price change applies to their next renewal.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss arising from a document you issued to a client). Where the Australian Consumer Law applies a guarantee that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the amount paid, at our option. This does not limit your right to cancel and obtain a refund for a major failure.
