What is Inspection Plus+ (getinspectionplus.com)?

Inspection Plus+ (getinspectionplus.com) is report-writing software for licensed building, timber pest and pool safety inspectors, built by a licensed Queensland (QBCC) building inspector. Inspectors use it on site — on a phone, tablet or computer — to prepare pre-purchase building inspection reports (AS 4349.1), timber pest inspection reports (AS 4349.3), pool safety inspection reports (QDC MP 3.4 / AS 1926.1) and building condition reports with costed repairs, together with the matching client agreements. Photos, dictated notes and AI-drafted wording that the inspector checks go straight into the report, which references the National Construction Code, the relevant Australian Standards and the QBCC Standards and Tolerances Guide. Reports are issued as branded PDFs that clients can verify by QR code. It is built for Queensland, with editions for every other Australian state and territory. No account is needed and the first three reports are free.

No. Inspection Plus+ at getinspectionplus.com is a Queensland property and building inspection reporting platform. It is not related to CNC, machine-tool, spindle-probe or metrology probing software of a similar name.

How it works

Your labour rates & price basis

Enter the hourly charge-out rates you want used. They are kept with your inspector details (they survive New job), are sent with every Assess & cost call, are applied over whatever the assessment returns, and the report states them as the labour basis. Where the prices come from. The assessment service estimates labour hours, hourly rates and material unit prices from its general knowledge of typical Australian trade charge-out rates and retail / trade-supplier shelf prices — it is not a live feed from Bunnings, Cordell, Rawlinsons or any supplier, and no supplier is asked to price the work. Your hourly rates above replace its labour rates; every material line links to a Bunnings search so you can check the current shelf price and overtype it; and the report states this basis in its Cost basis paragraph (with the price reference you name here, if any).

Building Condition Inspection Agreement — inspector ↔ client engagement, before the inspection

The pre-inspection engagement agreement to send the client before you inspect — the condition-report equivalent of the Pre-Purchase, Pool and Timber Pest inspection agreements. It sets the purpose, scope, reasonable-access rules, exclusions, point-in-time limitations, fees, liability cap and consumer-law savings for a visual building condition inspection, assessed against the National Construction Code, the Australian Standards and the applicable Standards & Tolerances Guide. Repair Works Agreement — domestic building contract, Schedule 1B QBCC Act 1991

A ready-to-sign contract between the licensed contractor and the owner for the repairs in this Condition Report. It is drafted to the requirements of Schedule 1B of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (regulated domestic building contracts): written and dated, both parties named with the contractor's QBCC licence number, the work described by reference to Schedule A, the contract price stated on the first page, deposit capped (10% under $20,000 / 5% at $20,000 or more), progress payments for work done only, written variations, the Part 3 statutory warranties, the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme premium and the 5-business-day cooling-off notice for work over $3,300, and — for contracts of $20,000 or more — the Consumer Building Guide and the practical-completion date. For $3,300 or less, Schedule 1B does not apply by law: the contract says so and gives the warranties as contract terms. Combined Building and Pest

The five buttons on the Building & Pest panel. The five Stripe Payment Links are already built into the app, so every button is live: leave a link box empty to use the built-in link, or paste a buy.stripe.com link to replace it (anything else makes that button say “Coming soon”). The three one-off links carry product_code metadata BPS (1 job) / BP5 / BP0, so the webhook emails the buyer ONE code that adds the Agreement credits and Building & Pest Report credits. The two subscription links carry the Pre-Purchase and Timber Pest Unlimited plans together, for one inspector. Save settings publishes prices and links to every visitor.

Handover Inspection — state data to verify

Open points in each state's Handover edition that still need confirming (never printed on a document), dated changes to watch, points noted as settled (such as contract texts that are not public, which the documents already tell the reader to check) and a dated record of what has been verified against primary sources (latest pass 28 Oct 2026). Work through the open points with your solicitor before relying on that state's edition.

Issue a download code

Stripe purchases get their code by email automatically. Use this for manual sales, replacements or goodwill — generate a code and send it to the buyer. Codes are issued and checked by the server, and each code's credits can be used once.

Customer changed phone? Codes are tied to the device that redeemed them (packs: 1 device, Unlimited passes: 2). Release a code so it can be redeemed on their new device — note a released pack gives its full credits again, so for packs it's usually better to issue a new code for just the unused credits.

After a refund or chargeback, Cancel code stops it being redeemed or restored and blocks its email, e-acceptance, archive, web-link and quote features. Credits already on a device can’t be removed remotely.

Every submission from the landing-page "Leave feedback" form is emailed to you and listed here. Nothing is shown publicly until you press Publish as testimonial (only offered where the client ticked the consent box). Uses the Sales log key below.

The Stripe webhook emails each buyer their code the moment they pay and logs the sale; this reads that log back. Enter the same key you set as ADMIN_API_KEY in Netlify — it's saved with your other settings above.

Passcode for this device

A short passcode opens Admin on this phone or computer without typing the long admin key. It works only on this device, only while the admin key saved here still works, and five wrong tries in a row switch it off. “Forget admin key on this device” removes it too. On a new device, sign in once with the full admin key, then set its passcode here.
